Dragons seeking coaching candidates

The Dragons are in the process of seeking interested candidates to join our coaching staff. Please click here to find out more.

Registration With USA Rugby and Dragons Dues

If you plan on playing this season, make sure you're registered with USA Rugby and paid your Dragons dues (or made arrangements with the Treasurer) so you'll be allowed on the pitch!

Captain and Selectors Chosen

Elliot will be serving as our captain this season. The captain is charged with not only inspiring the team, but is also the only player on the pitch permitted to speak to the sir (the ref).

Andrew W and Paul C will serve as selectors for the forwards and backs, respectively. The selectors are responsible for helping the coach and captain create the starting line up, as well as identifying potential strengths in players.

All the positions require a keen eye, strategic thinking, and a good sense of the game. Congratulations to all of them.

T-Shirt Design Contest

Calling all design hounds! The Dragons are looking for new ideas for our next batch of t-shirts. The theme must include the Dragons and rugby. The winner(s) will be credited on the t-shirt.

At the Car Wash

Thanks to the volunteers and our sponsors North End and Pride Global Logistics (led by our own David Shake), the Dragons enjoyed yet another spectacular maiden effort with our Car Wash and BBQ on Saturday, August 22 in the parking lot of the Lucky Horseshoe at Belmont and Halsted.
Although the day started slowly due to the overnight dip in temperature, the pace of the event picked up nicely in the afternoon. DJ Zita Zie’s music-combined with the carnival atmosphere featuring a Dunk Tank-brought out a large number of enthusiastic drivers who were more than happy to enjoy burgers and drinks while a horde of ruggers pampered their cars.
